Infections:
28 Days Later (2003):
This is a message to all of you
"do-gooder's" out there... some test
animals shouldn't be released. You have
no idea what they may be infected with
and what kind of hell you may be
unleashing upon the world! But a fast
spreading virus that turns people against
each other in the most ravenous and
brutal way possible is a great technique
for lowering the population!
The Stand (1994):
"Captain Tripps", "The Super Flu"... call it
what you will, but this man-made infection
makes cancer seem like a tummy ache!
Watcher be warned: this is a T.V.
mini-series based on a Stephen King
novel, so it will be long. But this film is
worth the time it takes to watch it! There is
just nothing like a great virus being spread
around the country to make you feel all
warm and fuzzy inside!
The Toxic Avenger (1985):
Ahh... the classic tale of mop boy turned
mutant. A fairy tale we were all told as
children... oh, was that just me? Well,
then it's about time you knew the story
too! Brought to you from the great people
over at Troma Entertainment, this
hilarious movie is a wonderful example of
the dangers (or pleasures!) of toxic
waste! A cult classic in every sense of
the word!
Cabin Fever (2002):
Just when you thought shitting in the woods
was the worst part of camping, Eli Roth has
given you a film about a group of campers
that will make your skin crawl... or just start
peeling off entirely! Thanks to man and all of
our toxic substances, getting in touch with
nature is no longer even safe. A bloody,
disgusting, hilarious movie every good horror
fan should have on their shelf!
28 Weeks Later (2007):
This film is about the aftermath of the "28
Days Later" infection. While it isn't as good as
the original, it only continues to prove that
people are idiots. We are always in such a
hurry to get things done that sometimes we
overlook the possibility of danger. Like trying
to rebuild a country almost entirely wiped out
by a plauge before we are positive that the
plauge is completely gone.
